Torre Medieval treats with deep respect and seriousness the safeguarding of the private data of its Guests as a natural person, such as name, country of birth, address, age, gender, email, telephone number, credit card information, preferences and specific requests declared before, during or after the stay, including exchange of digital correspondence. This data will only be collected with the prior consent of the Guest and processed in accordance with European Union legislation on the General Data Protection Regulation.

Our mission is to provide superior service. Personal information is collected to assist Torre Medieval in making reservations and providing services requested by the guest. When booking

When making a reservation, you will be asked to fill in a reservation profile, which will contain your personal data, such as name, address, contacts, information about children (for example, name, date of birth, age), as well as certain information. of guarantee and deposit required to secure the reservation, such as a credit card number. By transmitting your personal information, you acknowledge and agree to the terms and conditions contained in this Privacy Policy. Due to the personal nature of the information provided, the reservation system is secure, protecting the credit card number with Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption technology, transmitting it over a private network.
Reservations are guaranteed by the Ynnov platform.

During the stay

During your stay, Torre Medieval will be able to register your data to create a database, which helps if the guest wants to stay in one of the apartments again, and other eventual billed expenses. This information is also recorded in order for Torre Medieval to comply with financial reporting requirements, including those imposed by government auditors and regulators. Certain information may be collected as required by local laws (eg passport data for the Portuguese Immigration and Borders Service – SEF). Information relating to the stay may also be stored (eg health issues, special requests, service issues). This data is maintained in Torre Medieval’s property management system and is combined with information from previous visits. In addition, the content of any documents submitted before, during or after your stay (including letters, comment cards, electronic documents such as emails and other similar forms of communication) may be retained. This information may be shared with employees.

Storage of Personal Data

Personal information is stored in a secure location, either a database or an archive. In addition, steps are taken to ensure that only designated individuals have access to this information. So that we can serve you better and in a more personalized way, your profile is stored in the Management Systems, the central platform for managing reservations. Other transaction information is retained, such as the number of stays and the number of nights in each stay.

Agents, contractors or third-party service providers may receive your personal information during the provision of services to the accommodation, so that Torre Medieval can respond more effectively to the Guest’s needs. Using contractual or other agreements, ensure that these parties protect any personal information in a manner consistent with the principles articulated in this Privacy Policy. Personal Information Retention Time
